Nelson Mitchell has led HistoryMaker Homes since 2000, continuing his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather’s legacy. Nelson, a Texas A&M graduate, grew the company from 400 closings in 1999 to more than 1,000 annually today, reaching more than $250MM in annual revenue. Nelson is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Builder’s “20,” Young President’s Organization, and was awarded the National Housing Quality Award in 2002.
